Social housing is long-term rental housing for people on very low to moderate incomes that may be experiencing ‘rental stress’ in the private market. It can be provided by community housing organisations like Hume, the state government or by Aboriginal housing organisations.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) in New South Wales is housing designed specifically for individuals with significant functional impairments or high support needs. It is funded under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and provides options that allow tenants to live more independently while receiving the necessary supports.

Making paying your rent and water bills as easy as possible

We provide a variety of flexible payment methods to suit your lifestyle, including online payments through HumePay, and in-person payments at our offices.

Our friendly customer service team is always available to discuss any concerns you may have about your payments and can guide you toward helpful financial resources or support programs.

How to pay your bills

HumePay

HumePAY is a secure, easy-to-use online portal for paying your rent, water, and bond bills. View your outstanding balances and make payments anytime, from anywhere.

Pay with HumePay

Centrepay

Centrepay is a voluntary payment option for Centrelink customers, allowing you to set up regular deductions from your Centrelink payments.

Visit servicesaustralia.gov.au/centrepay to learn how to set up your deductions.
Use Hume’s CRN: 555014310J when setting up.

Alternatively, you can have Hume set up Centrepay for you by calling us on 1800 004 300

BPAY

BPAY is a secure and convenient way to pay your rent and water bills through online, mobile, or telephone banking.

You can pay from any account and schedule one-off or recurring payments on your preferred date.

Be sure to have sufficient funds in your account for scheduled payments.

Find the BPAY logo on your water bill for the Biller Code and Reference Number.

To pay rent via BPAY, contact our Customer Service Centre at 1800 004 300.

Over the phone

If you prefer to make a payment over the phone, you can call us at 1800 004 300. One of our friendly team members will assist you with processing the payment using your debit card.
