HUME IN BLOOM RETURNS FOR ITS 5TH YEAR!

Our annual gardening competition is back, blooming and bright for another year! This competition is open to all Hume customers, no gardening experience needed.

COMPETITION DATES:

Competition opens Monday 17th of August and closes Friday 16th of October. Winners will be announced late October with a celebration event to follow!

HOW TO ENTER:

Snap a photo of you with your garden and share your story. It’s that easy! Simply complete our entry form below before Friday 16th October.

COMPETITION CATEGORIES:

• Best Balcony Garden – This category, designed for our customers who live in unit complexes on the ground floor or in upper levels. It recognises gardening that brings flourish, colour and vibrancy to an otherwise empty space. 
• Best Compact Garden – This category includes customers who may have a small collection of plants or have created their garden in a compact space.
• Best Community Garden – This category is for a group of customers who share a garden space for the benefit of all. Community gardens are often focused on food growing, sharing the harvest and connection. 
• Best Edible Garden – This category recognises food-growing areas such as raised beds, pots, and vegetable gardens. An edible garden should have 2-3 or more varieties of edible food grown for a particular household. 
• Best General Garden – This category is for larger front, back and/or side yards in a garden. Only the best section of the garden is required for an entry photo!
